For our latest special our brewers wanted to strip things right back and see what they could do with one type of malt and one hop, using Vienna malt, a decoction mash and a healthy does of mittlefruh at the end of boil and whirlpool we have created a lager that is clean, crisp but with a smooth mouthfeel. It showcases the ingredients and process.
Sommer (W)Heat, our summer hopfenweisse, a light, hoppy wheat beer dry hopped with Olicana, Hallertauer Blanc & Eukanot hops. Lemon, grapefruit zest, grapes & passion fruit on the nose. It’s got a medium body and is highly carbonated with a refreshing bitter finish
Home Melone, our spring pilsner. Dry hopped with Hull Melon hops giving it a honey melon aroma and a crisp, dry finish. Sessionable brew at 4.8%
Amber Ale brewed for early spring, this beer is named after the culprit that has been breaking into our brewery, stealing the brewers boots. Very sessionable at our lowest ever ABV of 4.3%
Our winter Weizenbock. Bock in German means; a strong beer, the animal Ram and a very stubborn human being. (hint hint)
Smoko is our smoked lager, 2018 version. Our seasonal autumn brew is well balanced with the perfect subtle smoke taste achieved by the wonderful smoked malt from Steinbach Malts in Franconia.
Fritz Taube is our collab fest hefeweizen made together with our friends from Anspach & Hobday. Creamy, intense Hefeweizen with a proper 5.9%
Our 2018 Oktoberfest Lager edition. Amber Festbier simply called ‘O’ packs a solid 5.6% and is super drinkable.
Traditional German styled Pilsner, dry-hopped with Mandarina Bavaria hops, the perfect session beer for the heat! 4.8% ABV
Whilst brewing our seasonal Festbier we encountered a power cut making us re-ferment the brew three times. The outcome is a unique smooth amber lager.
Our first beer ever brewed on site, a Märzen style or smoked lager, made with only Munich malt and a hint of smoked malt.
